Genre Splitting

I didn't think I would ever do this, but something happened in the last couple of days that has convinced me that I will need to make a genre split and write under a different name for GLBT than I do for het romance (If I even write any more het romance ( Read more... )

I have thought of that, too, using a different pseudonym for the f/f and m/f fiction. I look forward to all your writing! I don't know how other people feel about it, but when I find a writer who writes wonderful fiction, I will read everything they write, whatever genre it might fall into. I have written a little bit of everything myself, and I bar nothing. I enjoy it all because I'm afraid I'll miss something good if I rule out any genre.

I love the name Kalita. I'll be looking for it, and for all your fiction.

I totally understand. A name is a brand, as much as it is anything else. I LOVE the name you've picked. How much you choose to keep your names separate is a matter of choice. I wish you luck going this route.

I've thought about doing that [nod] and if I ever get back to het, I probably will. Heck, I thought about using a separate name for "regular" contemporary m/m and keeping this name for SF/Fantasy/Paranormal SF ( ... )
