My World is Not Happy

I have a headache from reading too many blogs and trying to find something constructive to say.
I lost a story which I was certain I had typed up, and now can't find anywhere on my hdd.
The world outside my cyber window is filled with snarling and vitriol.

I think I will go hide in a corner and wait till it all blows over.

Margaret, hon, I'm sorry for your distress. I understand it because I've been in it for days.

We'd planned a more graceful exit than this.
The irony that I initially got involved to DEFEND my publisher is not lost.

It's all just terribly terribly sad, and I had to take a definite decision to pull away and say nothing, several times. The only times I did speak on the issue, I felt what I was saying was misheard.

At the end of the day, I have to choose my battles, and this one is not mine to fight. The pub concerned is perfectly able to fight their own. :)

I hope you have lots of success wherever you go, and I will still be looking out for your new releases!

Yuck. I'm glad this cleared up for you, and that I missed the whole blogstorm. *sighs* *comforts* I don't need any more drama in my life, I know that much. I bring my own.
