The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Sandra and I went to see this film yesterday. It starred Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett and as films go, it is brilliant. I think both Pitt and Blanchett put in marvelous performances as Benjamin (Pitt) and Daisy (Blanchett).

I don't go to the cinema, so I'm waiting for this one to be released on DVD. Also Seven Pounds, with Will Smith - I hear that's supposed to be excellent as well.

I hated Brokeback Mountian with a passion- lol - I'm gonna try and forget that comparison :^P From what I've seen of the shorts, Benjamin Button looks really good. If it's a tear jerker, then I'm watching it alone!!!

LOL When I said in the tradition of BBM I meant it is a romance without a HEA. I know that movie was not everyone's cup of tea, but Benjamin Button is definitely a tear jerker, so make sure you have waterproof makeup on, and bring a box of tissues!

Also have to agree that Seven Pounds looks interesting.
