Acorn Antiques?

You're kidding me. I never even knew about such a thing as Acorn Antiques when I wrote my recently finished novel. In my story, the place where Casey works is called Acorn Antiques and is owned by Sally Oakes (yeah, I know). Was just reading comments on a friend's LJ and I saw "Acorn Antiques" mentioned.

It was a brilliant sketch series, a spoof of all the bad soap operas like Cross roads, where the scenery wobbled and the actors looked to camera and forgot their lines and missed their cues *lol*. And the storylines got progressively more melodramatic...

I am a HUGE fan of Victoria Wood of course, and that's just the humour I love, the parody of very domestic life.
