Well, I'm guessing NBC will show footage of the closing ceremonies tonight, but the Olympics are over. Kind of lost track the last couple of days, but I do know the Redeem Team succeeded in basketball, Ussain (the lightning) Bolt struck again, Bryan Clay is the World's Greatest Athlete (i.e., the Decathalon winner), and the U. Oh, so cute they all are! I really enjoyed your posts each day. I haven't missed not having TV [I'm not sure how grammatically correct that phrase was, either] until now.

You don't have TV? I knew people in the past who didn't, but they succumbed several years ago. (How do you watch DVDs? On the 'puter?)

By and large, you're probably better off without them, but now and again there are occasions when there is "television worth watching." Right now (and through November) I wouldn't mind missing out on all the political ads.

I have a nice big flatscreen TV and home theater system, but no broadcast cable (cable modem for internet connection only.) And we live too far out from either DC or Richmond to get reception just off the aether, so no TV for us. The Last Chick In The Nest was the only one who watched it so when she moved out we let it go.
