If you could be a roadie (or if you'd prefer, just follow around - instead of doing grunt work) for any band, who would you choose to follow around the country/world?
Well, it depends...I've always answered this question as Weezer...but nowadays I'm not really down with all the drugs and alcohol and general partying of the rockstar life...so, maybe Lifehouse or Emery or Juliana Theory or Mae or some other Christian band. In real life I get to be Becky's roadie...but she's not technically a band...and she's not technically touring the world, or the country, or the state...but I did get to carry her guitar a bit when we had open mic night at Everyday Joe's! It's pretty sad that I can't answer my own question with a solid answer, huh?
Yeah, being a roadie was always fun, even if I didn't get to do it that much. I used to get into all the punk shows free because I was Falon's roadie, and I worked a job with one of the band members. I don't know if anything ever became of them or not.
And I used to travel around Pennsylvania and Ohio when given the opportunity to see Frontline / GSM in concert. But that led to a total of about 9 concerts. I have some good stories about them, tho, and that's what counts. ^_^
