Well, I survived my first Second Level dressage test at a show this weekend! It could have been so much worse than it was, considering that Lacey decided to be an absolute IDIOT in warm up.... it could have gone better though. I don't think the word 'relaxed' described ANY of our test. I was tense from the warm up, and had to keep reminding myself

Don't get sick!!! Pop that vitamin C and the OJ and get some rest. Something is going around, that's for sure. And the horse show might not have been quite what you wanted, but improvement is good, right?

it's good to have a baseline, and things to work on over the winter, that's for sure. I'm sure that next year we will do better. =)
