More than one theme to choose from each week would probably help a lot. Since you're letting us submit 3 icons per week, 3 themes a week would probably be good. I'd say two at a minimum?
Also, I don't know if it's just me misremembering when reminders come up, but they've seemed kind of sporadic.

I've been thinking about that actually since it worked quite well with Full Moon Week. Would you rather have 2 set themes or 1 theme mandatory theme and then Free For All for the rest like we had then?

As for the reminders your not misremembering :( I have been forgetting recently and being on my own at the moment means I have to wait for my brain to remember lol I shall start getting them out on time from now one! :D

had a feeling it was exam time at the moment so i know lots of members(your fabtastic self included!) are buy with studying. Just wanted to ask around in case there are any changes i can make that will inspire our other members to enter :D

I'd say a variation in prizes, actually. Banners are pretty awesome, but interesting extras would be nice to work hard for, too. Ex. simple wallpapers, pictures for a profile, etc etc etc. Maybe have some selection of 'images of the week' from previous winners and let the winners chose what medium they want?
