I read somewhere that Fire Island is suppose to be a big gay hang out, where mostly gay men drop tons of cash and vacation lavishly to get away from NYC. Anyhow, I hope you're enjoying the sun. We'll have to compare tans when you get back.

really?! we didn't really see any people there at all our age. the island was populated with men and women that were at least 60 years old. i herad that all the younger people just come on the weekends and that its only the locals during the week. it was honestly the most strange bizarre place i have ever been in. DEER were all over it and they would walk around with you. there are no cars allowed on the island and when you get off the ferry you rent a little wagon to bring your stuff to your house. i have lots of crazy stories.
