I agree. For generally keeping up with someone's life, it's far better than email. I really do wish I could get my German friends to get on as well, but they're just not having any of it. I mean, I didn't really get it, until rhiannonredwulf convinced me. They all think it will add more for them to do, in addition to keeping up on email with friends, whereas I find it's pretty much replaced that kind of email. :-)

I didn't know my armpit hair was so alluring. But, yay! :) You're right, more here than ever in plain email...
