This show is going to make me think every week isn't it?  A little wordy (for me) under the cut.

The lady in the tub is what they called a "hybrid". I think she's halfway between the Cylon models like Six and the Centurions & Raiders. It sounded like she was actually the heart, the control, of the Basestar.

Why did everyone just stand there when Kara pulled out her knife?

I think maybe they're a little scared of her. Like maybe they thought if she didn't attack herself, she might attack them.

I really, really want to know the whys and wherefores behind the missing 5 models.

Ah, the Hybrid, got it. I think I heard the name (from other people in fandom) but thought they were talking about the baby, heh. That just makes it more creepy.

I think RDM mentioned the missing 5 were like the top secret Cylon models that the 7 we already know haven't even seen them. Hence Six saying that they don't talk about them. I never actually thought he'd bring it up on the show, I'm so happy.

But I sort of liked the contrast at the end with her and Tigh. I think Kara got it, and maybe in the next few episodes she'll show that she can move on

Agree with you there, I thought that worked very well. Kara sees that they have to go on, but Tigh has given up. Sad for him.

Yeah. I think Kara really saw that she has something to grasp onto and Tigh, I think really believes there's nothing there for him anymore.
