Ah, I'm off to my grandmother's for the weekend, which I'll probably be doing until her sister comes down in the fall. No biggie, Saturdays and Sundays aren't the most exciting down here :D

But anyway, I finished S2 and I'm nearly done with S3 of Supernatural. And I'll be taking my time to finish with S4 ( Read more... )

I haven't been interested in watching Torchwood, sadly. I've been hearing some things about it and I'm intrigued, but I guess we'll see? heh

- So, did people hate Bela because she was a woman or because she was an annoying thief? Well, I don't find her that annoying, she's interesting but it's a little annoying how she takes stuff from the boys but she's fun! Especially in "Red Sky at Morning".

Most people seemed to hate her because she made the boys look dumb when she kept getting one over on them. Yet if she were a male character fandom would be falling all over themselves to discuss how snarky and awesome she was *eyeroll*

And heh yes that dream was kind of random, I feel like they utterly gave up on her after Red Sky At Morning had such a negative fan response, so she really didn't get any more decent character development after that until her very last episode. I'm just annoyed they gave her a chance for all of two episodes before caving in to fan reaction :/

Pretty icon there, hon :D

If they wrote a male character identical to Bela, I'd still find him a little annoying. Oh, the reaction was after Red Sky at Morning? I'd figure it'd be after she stole the Colt, because she was fun in Red Sky at Morning.

Blah, I'm glad I wasn't watching this live and into fandom, I'd pull my freakin' hair out.

Oh people hated Red Sky At Morning, and so of course the writers decided that it was the amongst their worst episodes ever, and comparable to Route 66 and Bugs *more eye rolling from me*

And reaction was from before Bela even arrived, the actresses were warned by the people on the show because the fandom was so outraged over the network asking them to add icky girls to the show

Aw, it wasn't that bad. Did people just forget some of those S2 episodes, as well?

I don't get it! It's not like the attention shifted and the girls were all HEY HEY WE'RE HERE. The show has never NOT been about the brothers, and I really really really doubt that will ever change.
