Doctor Who

Hey you guys, I just watched "Journey's End" and there's a couple things I have to say about it...

It might be a surprise that there's little to no ranting under here... )

But my biggest problem with it was Ten passing the clone off as an early version of Nine and disowning him.
This was one of my big issues with the beach scene as well. Half of me likes the idea of Rose being with a version of the Doctor that is more like Nine (apparently) but the way it was done was just no good. :/

DONNA! :(

I was so happy to see there was no jealousy between Rose and Martha as well!
Don't know what was going on with Mickey and Jackie but I guess they just got closer after his grandma died maybe. There was no interaction between him and Rose which annoyed me slightly.

I'm getting really fed up with Ten now (in fact I preferred the clone!Doctor at points in this ep). A regeneration is needed soon I think.

Yeah, I think it was something that was interesting in theory but it played out horribly, IMHO.

A lot of people that should have didn't get interactions in the episode, which is ridiculous because there was definitely room for it.

I would definitely be one to welcome a regeneration right now!

You know, after everything, Martha may be the companion to come out the best of all of them, including Jack. (Mickey would count if he hadn't become such a macho jerk.)

The backhanded swipe at Nine hurt.

The lack of chemistry between Rose and Ten was pretty spectacular.

Rose changed her mind pretty quick.

Donna. Sigh. In some ways, it was a dramatically satisfying ending, but it's torture to watch. And the fact that both of my favourite characters have now been eviscerated by Ten (Nine by being "less than", Donna by being brutally stripped of all her awesomeness) hasn't exactly made me happy.

Yeah, I'm done. I may come back to see how Moffat does, but this killed it for me. And that hurts. I'm grieving for that, too.

I think so! I like that she had a legitimate plot in the finale.

What RTD has done to Ten is just baffling, I don't like it and he has made me cease to care about many of his characters.

I'm grieving for that, too.

I'm with you on that. And *hugs* for it too.
