An update on my real life situation; I was able to transfer to another position in the organization I work. It pays a little more but its a big adjustment since I've gone from evening shift to day shift. I no longer rotate working weekends with a co-worker (who was also able to get a transfer) but I actually liked that because it gave me a chance

I'm so glad to hear you found another position, and even one with slightly better pay. It sounds like it will be a big adjustment, but I'm glad you found a good place to land.

Thanks and sorry for the the late reply. I'm very fortunate but I still miss the old job which was lower pay but also had some other advantages like getting to sleep in since it was second shift, daily physical activity, using the cafeteria and the garage but I'm adjusting and so far the people have been nice.
