Mission accomplished

I finished my "Narrative Trajectory" essay on The Song of the Lark.  I take immense pride in being able to spit out a pretty decent essay in about two hours, but I know I shouldn't do it.  BAD MEGAN!  At least I'm starting to put myself on the right track.  I felt like I got a lot done today.  I'm still planning on finishing this book before I go ( Read more... )

Well, the great Dane Cook says men fight to make women cry. Just one tear. The fourth sentence in the last paragraph, you might want change-up some, as it contains masculinity twice as well as emasculation. It does seem to have a voice change--which might be what you want though to emphasize the perspective shift. Sure, men are one-track, and fear motivated (although I don't think that's unique to us, but perhaps anxiety would be the typical shoe on 'the other foot'), but I liked your earlier description - say "ravaged sinuses" as I found it more potent than say "scent of her shampoo".

I'll never again hear "little did he/she know" without hearing the illustrious Dustin Hoffman in 'Stranger than Fiction'...so I'll leave you with another movie quote to sum up my thoughts; "again - with MORE intensity!" (as always, bonus points for knowing which movie : )
