Crankyness and headaches lead to me thinking about Dollhouse.

Which is probably an association I should take note of.

Anyway, I've been cranky all day and part of last night because I've hate a headache since late last night (which I suspect has led to a few instances of repeatedly sticking my foot firmly in my mouth), though it did go away for a bit.  Now, when I say "headache," I don't mean something that ( Read more... )

I was actually going to suggest hot chocolate--sweet stuff usually helps stave off the worst of headaches, even if only temporarily.

Yeah, that helps with the piercing pain bits, but the neverending ache and throbbin just has to run its course or something.

Hmm.

Try throwing something fluffy at the wall repeatedly?

caffeine is usually good for headaches like that. Even if it's in chocolate form :D

Part of why I almost always have chocolate on hand, and drink a lot of sodas.

Good plan. Well all I can do is sympathise and comend you on your brilliant spotting as far as the Dollhouse plot. In any other show I would expect this to be a plot whole, but Joss Whedon is usually good at making you think that and then you find out it was really important :)

I can't take not doing anything, which is why books and DVDs and computer files are constantly being reorganized.

One of the reasons I knit is so that I can do something with my hands while I'm sitting down and watching tv, or when I'm out with friends doing a tabletop roleplaying game. Otherwise I get too restless.

Drawing is good for this! Well, unless you hate drawing. Drawing pokemon is especially effective. Super effective, even. Ahem.

as for the headache...lying down does nothing for me either. I prefer to be up and doing something reading or organizing when I have a normal headache. Migraines are a different matter since they tend to just knock me back on my ass from pain and I don't have a choice in that XD

as for Dollhouse--good point. I remember her mentioning that and I find it odd that they've mentioned every other possible reason for those 4 to be the malfunctioning ones but that (I mean really, they have breakfast together so OMG they have to be going berserk right? there isn't a person in this world that doesn't have some sort of ritual so why wouldn't the Dolls?).

I suspect that for all they blah blah blah like they know what they're doing, the technology is pretty experimental.

I think the breakfasting together was Sierra and Echo gravtitating because of multiple shared assignments and Victor gravtitating for Sierra and Echo allowing that as long as her Sierra wasn't made sad. (I am too familiar with the politics of toddler playgroups for my own good.) We don't really see November with them, though.
