Rightstuf's current sale is 33% off Tokyopop books.  Sale ends 3/16.

But more importantly, worldserpent  just linked me to a post by pen37 , one of the contributors to In the Hunt:  Unauthorized Essays on Supernatural.  The post is largely a reaction to this review of the book.  The reviewer apparently hates these kinds of books, and categorizes the contributors by ( Read more... )

Only one volume of SDK listed that I don't already have pre-ordered? Really? Come on now.

I didn't do much preordering last time, so there should be a few volumes for me.

Okay, any review where you refer to the source material as Show? Lolarious, and not for good reasons.

Oh, and I got the book today, whee!

YAY! And...wow was that slow. Granted, I sent it out later than I thought I would, but I think the other books I sent the same day got to their destinations early this week.

I love how I'm already bouncing off these essays like a rubber ball. John Winchester was a good dad because his kids are okay? Are you fucking serious?

On a happier note, does Rightstuf just ship your merchandise in-stock right away, and then send the pre-orders later? They didn't really say in my confirmation email.

On a slightly ludicrous note, my browser took me to an older entry of yours, which I totally didn't realize was older (because it had a Rightstuf sale on top! And I'd read it before) until about halfway through the comments. I suck.

Yeah. That one was, for me, a case of "you know, I agree that he was the best father he could be under the circumstances, BUT YOUR ARGUMENTS DO NOTHING TO TRULY SUPPORT IT!"

As far as Rightstuf goes, they'll usually ship things as they come available, though I sometimes have things "reserved for your order" for a bit.

I suspect half of my 'linkblogging" tag is Rightstuf sales.
