And I forgot to mention the stereotypical Evil Asian Overlord Assistant Manager in the first half of the season. possibly for the best.
I kind of like the "Everyone must get dressed up! Sarah and Chuck are a couple! Casey is wait staff equivalent!" but you can really only do that so much...
Especially when Chuck uses the same alias every time.

And a high school classmate of mine was in an episode on the first season. She was the Chinese/Asian spy girl person.
For the heterosexual male, I like the gratuitous shots of Sarah in lingerie, but you know, that's me.
The show gets better in the second season, and the characters really flesh out more, in my opinion.

Adam Baldwin as Casey is THE BEST THING about Chuck. Sometimes I pretend it's called "Casey". And that episode with Casey's obsession with his vintage car was so Jayne&Vera! I was laughing hysterically the whole time.
