Wow, it's like a lighter version of the musical Elisabeth set a generation later--with Elisabeth's son, no less. And it's by Higuri You? I must read this.

At this point I wonder if she's trying to delay Cantarella indefinitely because she can't bring herself to finish something that's going to end up with melodramatic death and doom for everyone involved.

...I mean, it's not like that ever stopped her before, but maybe it's started to wear on her.

Maybe. I actually kinda fear finishing her series now. It's what she gets for, you know, paying attention to the history of her subjects.

Though, she may be able to get away with only killing off Cesare and Alfonso, there. Only, I say...
