It was an awesome hug, though. XD I think if there'd been a kiss I'd have fallen over dead from cute.

Between that, Nadeshiko’s ghost and Yukito/Yue (is the endless appetite gone now?), family dinners should be amazing.

I wonder if they set a place at table for a woman only one of them can see.

I think because I have difficulty thinking of Eriol as a kid instead of an adult in a kid’s body.

Well, that's good. I think a lot of people manage to miss the distinction. I mean, really, isn't he probably Fujitaka's age?

Interesting to see everyone worried about Sakura seeing the future.

That's the bit that made me so angry in Tsubasa, where she does start seeing the future. Did Eriol lie or was there extenuating circumstances? I don't know and I don't like it.

I’m surprised Mei Ling didn’t show up. I’ve heard a lot about her, but didn’t realize she’s an anime-only character. A pity, as I was looking forward to her.I always wish she was in the manga too, even though it would just get more and more complicated lol. There's one ( ... )

This is true! A kiss may have been lethal!

I'm sure no one will object to Fujitaka's talking to someone only he can see!

I assume Eriol is Fujitaka's age. They didn't say how long he'd kept himself at that age, onlythat it'd been years, and it makes sense both parts would be reborn at the same time.

It'd be a little awkward for the rest of them, I'd think, even if they didn't object. Poor Touya, the only one who could see her for ages...

I assume Eriol is Fujitaka's age...

CLAMP has weirded me out with Tsubasa. They owe me an illustration of grown-up Eriol who looks like Fujitaka only more adorable. I'm going to write them a letter...

I don't think CLAMP does kiss, like, ever. At least I don't remember characters kissing in any of their manga, do you?

that Chiharu/Yamazaki is probably the only normal pairing in this series.
Yes! they're adorable! ♥

I'm a bit miffed about Kaho for the Kaho/Touya, but otherwise I never understood the backlash against Kaho/Eriol when there's Rika/Terada next to it being ten times more disturbing XD

Mei Ling is one of the great thing of the anime!

I'm told Sorata and Arashi kiss, and the couple in Clover, but I haven't encountered either kiss yet.

Yeah, I have problems with Kaho/Touya, but can't really understand the problems with Kaho/Eriol, as it's canonical that he's years older than he looks. Regardless, it makes me sad that most of the fandom seems to hate Kaho. I've always liked her.

*smacks head* You're right! Sorata and Arashi kiss!

I think people get disturbed by the idea of a relationship with someone who has the body of a child, which is understandable... even though I agree Eriol's is definitely able to give consent.
I like Kaho, too! Not my favourite character, but she's sweet and fun.

My favorites are Tomoyo and Touya. I've thought Kaho was fun almost from the start, but needed to work a bit on her taste in males. Not the types of males, just the ages.

I love Meiling. But I'm kinda glad she's not in the manga, purely because her character needs to be seen in ACTION. It makes her that much more hilarious. XD

Awww, I love Yamazaki/Chiharu. <3

I don't really understand Eriol/Tomoyo shippers for the very reason you suggested. *shrugs*

I...it would be cute, I guess, and I would adore to see thise two having tea, but what would they bond over? How cute Sakura is when she's fighting?

It's one of those hugely popular fanon couples that has little to no canon evidence. But, yeah, it's almost canon within the fandom, for some crazy reason. Don't see how that works when Eriol is with Kaho and Tomoyo seems to like girls. The Eriol/Tomoyo & Sakura/Syaoran double dates would be cute, but still... :P

Most hugely popular fanon couples in anime and manga have little to no canon evidence. Not all, but most I've encountered. (A lot of them are also directly contradicted by canon, despite insistences of canon support...I dunno.)

It's one of those things that sounds cute, but makes no sense.

For the record, this volume made me cry so much. I always end up crying whenever Sakura does.

Anyway...

CLAMP! What do you have against final-frame makeouts, huh? 2-4 (I’m guessing) years of letters and phonecalls after a “running after the bus” separation, and that’s all you can do? If you suddenly make them old enough for outmakings for the last 5 pages, I expect follow through! Hmph.

I knowww! I was looking forward to that happening, but at least we got a hug. :| I also think it was only about two years of separation, considering Sakura says she's a middle schooler (I believe she was 11 or so maybe 12? around the time Syaoran left? But I'm not sure), and taking into account the ages of Cloney and Sakura at the beginning of TRC. And yes, there are icons of the hug. You'll most likely find them at ccsakura.

I approve of Toya continuing to disapprove of Syaoran. Between that, Nadeshiko’s ghost and Yukito/Yue (is the endless appetite gone now?), family dinners should be amazing.THIS. I imagine that Syaoran would eat there often, too, ( ... )

I'm assuming they're 13-14 at the end.

CLAMP+make-out sessions=not really popular, apparently. In fact, I can't think of a single CLAMP manga I've read that actually has a make-out scene beyond "implied sexual relations" and "innuendo" and "innocent peck" >.>

Woes!

This is apparently something where my sorrow is shared by many, though.
