the annoying Ayakashi whose name I can never remember.

Would that be Kaguro?

I've always thought that Kokubourou misjudged the nature of Karasumori's power. They think it's simply a powerful land with no Dark Mysterious Secrets behind its existence.

Yeah, Kaguro. The one who made Gen all Zig-Zag.

That's pretty much what I figured for Kokuboro, it's just that, as creates of mythology, I think i at least somewhat expected them to have an idea of what Karasumori was beyond "really powerful."

Man, yeah. Gen's death made me bawl. And I'm pretty sure the entire Organization is made of betrayal and infiltration, but I can't prove it until I see what happens in future volumes. XD

I suspect rooting it all out and kicking it out the door is Masamori's goal.

Lol, Vagabond never truly had any plot. You can only see the semblance of it if you go through like 20 volumes or so in one sitting, like I did. I'm actually reading 10 chapters at a time now, otherwise it gets dreadfully boring. I actually had a Vagabond dry spell for a while, because there's a rule that says scanlators can't enjoy the manga they're working on. Honestly, after pouring over the script for mistakes, then typesetting it while concentrating on centering the text just so, then QC, enjoyment goes out the window.

If you want Takehiko Inoue with plot, I recommend Slam Dunk and Real.

Yeah, you have to read Vagabond in large chunks to get any story. And as the volumes read so quickly, it won't take me long to get through the entire series from start to finish if it ever does finish.

Yeah, I'm sort of waiting for Vagabond to end, too, before I commit to buying any of it. Plus, if I bought the first VIZBIG and got addicted and sought out the later stuff, I'd have a mismatched set and that would bug me.

Yeah. Vagabond moves at the speed of molasses. Best to wait.

Vagabond's really pretty...I haven't read enough of it to see the lack of plot, but I'm mainly reading to catch up with the only volume I own anyway, so.

...Artbooks sound nice.

There's plot. Just very, very, very stretched out.
