Melody of Oblivion is so frickin' weird. I was uncomfortable watching it really.

Uncomfortable? A bit of an understatement. It says a lot that theonly character I'm remotely inclined to like so far is literally there to be a sexual object.

Hm... I really admire how you can watch it so in detail. I'm not so good with little parts, every time I only remember the basic. From MoO, next to the story I do remember this misogyny part, but I think at that time I watched it next to harem, and ecchi animes~ so I took it as 'normal fanservice'.

I think the only harem series I really have any patience for is Love Hina, and even then really only the manga.

Then you haven't seen Hanaukyo Maids-tai? I think it in my 'first 10 animes'. Sure, if you already saw many from this type and you didn't like any, than this is not for you. But I thought it's funny. ^^

Well, ecchi is hm... maybe from hentai you know better? Anime that is about sex, some harmless, while other more rape-like with monsters, etc. Since I'm not choosy with anime, I only decide if it's bad after watching it - so I have quite a list about hentai animes I saw already. My male friends are quite happy about it. They are delicate about this topic, so I can give them my opinion. While it's a good thing they are glad about it, I don't know if I should be happy that the taste of them equals mine. XD
