I am very taken by this. And period costumes means less eye-gougingly awful 'fashions.'

I don't know how similar it and CS are(beyond the time period, of course) since I haven't seen CS yet,, but from what little I do know(staying unspoiled for CS) the main story is very diferent, but there are themes to the subplot and the ending that are similar.

But it was a very fun movie.
