Ah, Big O. One of the first animes I watched. Do you have both seasons of it or just the first season? I remember marathoning the second season in one afternoon and having my mother come in when I was almost finished and asking what I was watching. It's a hard show to explain to someone who doesn't know a lot about the various characteristics of manga/anime. I look forward to reading your take on it.

Yeah... you watched The Big O! I hadn't really thought about it but the show is a lot like Batman and you're right, massive insanity reigns supreme here but I think that's part of the appeal along with the characters... I simply adore Roger and Dorothy!

There's massive amounts of insanity, but instead of being played up, it's played down, and it works well.

Is it wrong that I keep wanting Toger to bring a woman home overnight, just for Dorothy's commentary?
