I find that in Kdramas, especially, I find myself liking the secondary male lead a lot more than the actual lead, in the love square. One of these days, I'm sure to come across a drama where the secondary male lead becomes the actual male lead......

I tend to have that problem with Taiwanese dramas. As far as kdramas go...it's actually pretty manipulative. They usually make the secondary lead the "nice guy" you know the heroine should choose, then the lead super angsty and in need of lurve and healing so you want the heroine to choose him to make it all better, all to get you more involved. One of the many reasons I dislike love triangles/squares.

The only Taiwanese dramas I've seen are "It Started With a Kiss" and the Hana Kimi one and in both I was crazy for Jiro Wang, who was the secondary lead in both. Of course, I could just love Jiro Wang!

I definitely agree about the love squares, though. I watched one epiosde of "Hello! Miss" and even though I love that actress, I could see myself loving the secondary male lead and just couldn't watch another episode.

I adore Jiro Wang, but I'm not sure I could ever ship him with anyone.

I haven't seen Hello! Miss, though it's somewhere on my list of things to see. The love squares wouldn't be vso bad if they weren't so obviously about our wanting the lead to "choose" one person over another, with the other left sad and alone(part of the reason Fantasy Couple is by far my favorite kdrama is because it doesn't go that route at all.)
