It does have very pretty art but I think I'm going to wait a few more volumes and see if an actual story/plot appears.

yeah, that was going to be my approach too, but there's so much mythology that I had to cave...figured I'd save it for a time when my brain couldn't handle anything more complicated, and the day has come.
