Emerald is a 64 page western oneshot by Hiroaki Samura(Blade of the Immortal.)  It's about a young girl named Sarah, who is trapped into a game with the man who killed her parents where either her parents(and therefore, her) debt will be erased, or she will be forced to work in his brothel, and Jimmy Weed, and outlaw hired by a woman named Rosalie

Of course I do. :D I don't read the monthlies though, just the collected versions. I used to read the monthlies in high school and in college but I stopped. I guess it's just as well though since they're discontinuing that.

I don't know what I'm going to do when i uddenly have to wait a YEAR between fixes...(not that I'm not several months behind as it is)

And good, I was going to be appalled otherwise. (Magatsu is my one true manga love...even if he is rather suicidal)

And his Western details aren't bad, either. The back of the hotel, where it's on stilts because of the steepness of the lot, could easily have come from Jerome, Arizona, which we toured a couple of years ago.

Yeah, it looks a lot more like the old west than most of the "western" stuff we get here.

But the best part is that the girls very, very convincingly fight(and win) with their brains.
