Did I mention that there's crossdressing involved when Sorcha and Madmartigan Meet? And that when she finds out his love confession was because of pixie dust, she frees herself from her pesky hostage situation by elbowing him in the gut and then kneeing him? Or the fact that in the end, they take over her evil mother's kingdom and basically rule the world (and adopt the baby destined to bring peace to the world?)
Val Kilmer and Joanne Whalley also got married in RL after this, but it didn't exactly work out...
Willow as a whole is kinda a lite version of LOTR, only with a baby instead of a ring. I'll always love it because it's one of my first movie loves, but it's the OTP that makes it a favorite.
I grew up with this and Princess Bride probably being my most watched movies...thus explaining almost all my shipping tendencies, I think.
Was going to find and post this for you last night but my internet died for 2 hours so I only had time for my Nodame Cantabile post.
Anyway, a Madmartigan MV(with a good bit of Sorcha, of course) Picture quality isn't amazin, but it should either seel you or send you in the opposite direction:
So I realize that I have never commented on your journal, gomen!!! But I love Will/Elizabeth, I'm so not a Jack/Elizabeth fan. I don't really know who you are talking about in the first one O_O_O. I only know of Lady Hawk because I was forced to watch it in English class, but I found it tolerable. I loved Princess Bride when I was younger, then I read the book, and it got cheesy squared for me, but it's still nice. I do love your last one, although I have not seen it, it just looks soo fun! Oh and the Mummy, there has never been a time when I wanted to be a librarian sooo bad.
The others I have not seen, sorry, I don't keep up with a lot of older movies, like pre 2000s...uwaaa, bad I know. I have only watched a few old movies, but plan to watch this version of Sabrina, because I love Audrey Hepburn, her voice is soo lovely!

Oh - & Sabrina is great, too, except I prefer the Ford/Ormond version. Ford's just a lot hotter.
As for Willow - it's a good movie but I watch it for Kilmer. (I watcha lot of stuff just for Kilmer)

The mummy makes most girl wish they were librarians.
Audrey Hepburn has a voice and diction that many have imitated, but none have come even close to.
