This time I played it safe and started with the ones I knew would drive me batty.  In order read.  Incidentally, now that I’m back in the comics reading mood, it kinda sucks that I get them once a month because New Warriors #1 is already out and it’s apparently actually pretty good and I won’t have it for a month…

Not too far off...just long enough for the whole modern WW franchise to finish butchering itself.

And how does one not love Nova these days? Why, I've finally recovered from the horror of the Larsen series with Annihilation and post-Annihilation Nova.

Do not worry about Flycatcher. Mark Buckingham is pretty much the biggest Fly fan around, and from what I've heard, he'd probably refuse to draw the comic if the treatment of Fly got too nasty.

I'm more worried that'll he'll end up hurt emotionally and idealistically(moreso than he already has been) than I am that he'll get hurt or become a mass murderer or anything. Like Blue said...his innocence must be preserved.

Well, the arc is titled "The Good Prince". I figure he'll get out of it with as little emotional pain as any character can when they have a full arc dedicated to them.

Exactly. I've encountered her a few times before so I at least know a little, but of Cap's exes I know of, I find her the least interesting. Being involved with her requires having liked them in the past, but if you don't know or care about their history, then it's just boring when the attention is on her. There's nothing really wrong or unlikable about her, really, there's just no reason to care if you didn't already.
