Sanada Yukimura  is one of the more popular Samurai Deeper Kyo characters.  For those who went "hey, I know that name!" yes, he's based on the historical personage.  That's actually the case with a number of SDK characters.  It is, however, very much an "alternate history" fantasy/action book, and so they usually bear little resemblance to actual
