EEEEE!!! BASARA!!! and more FMA
YAY! my Basara vol 22 is finally here. Except...I haven't finished reading January's comics yet, and I'm still reading vol 1 of Pearl Pink, plus I'm in the middle of Patricia Briggs's Raven's Strike, and at least 1 of the 3 should be finished first, but...but...I flipped through it and...*head goes splodey*
And I looked through it too, and it looks like Shuri does one of his awesome Sarasa things...
Anyway, up to ep 42 of Full Metal Alchemist
I do not approve of the events of episode 42. At all. Ok, I do, but not in the context that my second favorite character died. *scatters flowers*
Out of curiosity, when Rose showed up with a baby at Scar's place(actually, I guess it was the reverse), was anyone else's first thought that more time had passed than you thought since Scar headed for Liore? Course, the truth hit me less than half a second later, before Scar even started telling Ed what happened to her.
I like the 4th set of credits, though, and the lack of Scar in the opening credits let me brace myself for what was coming. Love the little montage of the fallen at the beginning of the end credits.
I knew who Sloth was as soon as they revealed what the homunculi were, but it was still rough. I still have a "Helpless little woobie! Must cuddle and make better!" reaction to Wrath...I really need to work on that.
I still love Greed and would have lovbed to have kept him around longer...oh, when he died did anyone else go "Ed, stop emo-ing and kicking the corpse!" Yeah, the steadily increasing emo-ing is very slightly starting to get to me, but nowhere near enough to detract from enjoyment.
It was cruel of them to let Marta live longer in the anime...made me think I was going to escape THAT scene, but no. Actually, it was kinda worse here as she was somewhat Al's friend by then. At least there was less splatter...you could damage blood seals doing things like that! At least now I'm wholly justified in hating the president in the anime, too.
Should be finishing it sometime tomorrow.
