I enjoyed A Rose-Red Chain very much, but did you find that the ending felt very rushed? I got down to the last 20 pages, and I was thinking, how will she wrap this up? And then, BAM, it was over, and there was nothing, not even a hint of the chaos surrounding the upcoming wedding, or the ramifications of the world building, or really much of anything except, "oh yeah, everyone's alive, here are some new characters." I wonder if her agent/publicist rushed her into finishing before she was ready.

I agree about the rushed ending, yeah. A lot of it, i think, is that so kuch of it happened while Toby was sleeping, so she and we got an infodump.

I posted "I miss the Luidaeg" on my goodreads review of A Red-Rose Chain. Heh. Also, I'm def. ready for more about Toby's family heritage.

I would be petfectly happy if allfuture books were about Toby's heritage.

I did like that "tell Luidaeg where im going so she doesn't kill people" was high on her to do list.
