1. After the early meh-to-me episodes, I got into Wayward Pines once it got over "ZOMG! MYSTERY!" and got to the actual plot. And then the epilogue happened and taught me my lesson about considering trusting M. Night.

Haha, I watched the Killjoys episode first. Later, when I watched the Dark Matter episode, I turned to my sister and told her, "It's going to be zombies again." I was only a little bit off ...

2. I'm glad they finished the main storyline. It feels more like an open ending than a cliffhanger to me. I don't mind not seeing more, even if that could have been interesting.

The literal Deus Ex Machina made sense to me, since the Messengers are supposed to prove that humanity is worth saving. They were all ready to actually sacrifice their lives for the common good, I don't see what better proof they could have given.

3. Yes, it was the same episode 5. Good thing it didn't air on the same week, especially considering I'm not big on zombies.

4. I hope Season 7 will get back to being good. I'm still watching because the show used to be so good, but Season 6 was really badly written.

I've seen people surprised that The Good Wife didn't get more acting noms for the emmys, but it makes sense. The performances were there, but with certain exceptions, the writing to showcase the performances wasn't. My main takeaway from the end was sitting there wondering who's taking care of Dylan. Father in jail, mother dead, aunt chased off a couple seasons ago, no other relatives we know about...
