-The kitty!stalking and Chelsea's non-reaction to it were just too precious. I know a lot of people ship Quentin/Raj and I kind of do myself, but in terms of what's plausible in canon, I don't know what the fae world's stance is on same sex unions/marriages for nobles, but as heirs to their respective kingdoms, and how those kingdoms seem to work together, Quentin/Raj would probably never be allowed to be an official couple. Similarly, the future king of North America probably already has a fiancee as part of a political arrangement out there somewhere, or a few possibilities waiting in the wings, and wouldn't be allowed to marry a changeling who was raised as a human anyway. Meanwhile, after Toby, the cats will probably breathe a collective sigh of relief if Raj just brings home the changeling daughter of a respected, responsible knight not known for stirring up trouble. (To put it mildly

- I get the thing about Political marriages/heirs for the future stuff, but the main reason I don't ship Quentin/Raj is mostly because they seem like really good friends. I wouldn't want romantic stuff mucking it up. As far as Quentin goes, you're right, I'd expect that he is already arranged to be married as soon as he's "old enough" to start grooming for the throne, but I have a feeling that his time with Toby will put a stop to his being the future king. As for Tybalt and Toby, I think the cats see it as Tybalt needed to provide an heir, which he's done in grooming Raj to be the next king of the cats. They aren't very political, so they would not require their king to marry another royal person to solidify an alliance. However, I agree with you about Toby and Tybalt being lifelong partners but never getting married. Toby's already done the marriage thing. I don't think she really needs it
