I won't get into how ridiculous the whole list is but Kennedy being ranked last really pisses me off. Even if you don't like the character, there's no way she's worse than the all the characters ranked before her leading up to Kate. And to mention Kate, another woman who is ranked MUCH lower than she should be. And why the hell is Gunn ranked so low?! How does SNYDER get ranked higher than Gunn?!

And now I've just seen that Warren is ranked at 23. WARREN. What were these people SMOKING?!

The only thing I agree with on this list is that I'd have a few of those Top 10 characters in my own Top 10.

Joyce's ranking angered me too. And so many characters ranked higher than characters with actual lasting impact and influence and personalities. And so many characters get higher rankings clearly only because the writer likes them/thinks they're entertaining. Which, I mean, it's fine if you really like random side character #25 a lot. We all do that. But that doesn't mean that the character is a better character or a more important one than another.

Right?! I hate when people make lists like this and call it 'best' because it's not. It's the writer's FAVORITES and that's how it should be presented.

It sure didn't take long to piss me off as Kennedy is a favourite of mine, and I can understand that big Tara fans are meh about her, but she definitely doesn't deserve all the hate.

Yeah. I realize that they found themselves in an awkward and tight spot after Tara's death and think they ended up with a somewhat forced character as they tried to fix it, but Kennedy is a MUCH superior character than "random character #20 who managed to scrape into the credits 3 times in 12 seasons combined" which many of the "better" characters are. It's also noteworthy that Kennedy is a lesbian who was openly confident in and comfortable with her sexuality, without it being her entire character.

I went through the list, but didn't read every single thing. I think the reasons for some of the characters rankings were ridiculous. And some of the characters were so damn minor, I'd forgotten they existed. I can't believe they put Spike as number two! I may ruffle some feathers, but I have always thought it was a mistake to make him a regular during S4 and to make him fall for Buffy, etc. I'm probably one of the few people in the world who truly thinks Spuffy was horrible and that Spike was ruined as a character. And don't get me started on how low some of the awesome ladies are on the list. Joyce - to low.

I concede to liking buffy/Spike when I binged on seasons 4-7 in about 3 weeks shortly after the season ended. Then I hated it a few weeks later.
