That writing with Alex/Catherine/Vincent was such a mess. Never have I seen so much character retcons within the space of two episodes, since the alternative was just Cat making shit up to make a friend guilty so she didn't have to be emotionally vulnerable, (the first thing he did was....go to her and tell her he chose her and didn't intend to pick up his relationship with Alex...) and Vincent's actions after she firmly told him not to pursue made me really uncomfortable. CW, man. I was super grateful to get past all the contrived plot-potholes that kept two adults who wanted it to happen - Cat, especially, previously showed herself perfectly willing to maturely confront and share her feelings and take chances - apart and get to the making out. That was a really satisfying makeout, too.

I love Heather, but considering that if Cat had been in a toxic emotional relationship cornering, pressuring and threatening her would be the ugliest possible thing to do to her, I kind of recoiled from that storyline. But I can't stand those 'lying ( ... )

CW is weird when it wants to forced romantic obstacles/conflict.

I agree that Heather's actions would have backfired if Cat really was in an awful relationship, but unfortunately, it's what most people actually would do.

As far as I can tell, that Lost Girl episode is universally loathed. But yes, it's back to normal (which is far from perfect, but not THAT) after that episode.

I avoid Lost Girl fandom.

Nothing can beat The Vampire Diaries! Not sure...if this helps me....or just sets the bar low...

Yeah, it was just one of those scenes where I made scrunchy faces and felt uncomfortable for everyone.

I've been really tempted by Tamsin, but after the season three premier I was too worried about what might follow to find the motivation. Also, though a Dark Bo storyline could be executed in really interesting ways, the way they did it last season didn't really involve Bo at all, and was so totally disconnected from her motivations and personality (which could, with a little work, have been led down a dark path) that it pretty much robbed her of all agency. I don't know how they've pursued that further in season three?

the viewers are way more interested in Bo/Lauren and Bo/poly than Bo/Dyson
Oh yeah! I also liked Bo/Ryan last season, but not Bo/Dyson.

I really enjoy Tamsin, especially the fact that the writers are regularly giving us some Bo/Tamsin.

I agree about Jack. It was awesome they genderbent the character, but then she turned out to be evil. :/

I enjoyed Bo/Dyson for about half a season, and then never again.

The only problem with Tamsin is that I don't trust them at all with her.

So glad I dropped Once Upon a Time several episodes ago.

The Elementary reveal was great. I was so glad they didn't do the "You lied to me! I am offended forever!" false conflict. It was handled really well & I'm glad they are settling into a great dynamic.
