Somewhere out there, Sam Claflin is going "Wait, didn't I sign up to play the prince in this movie? Aren't I supposed to have an epic romance with Snow White or something? Why does 90% of the stuff that comes out for this seem designed to make people want her to end up with the huntsman? ISN'T THAT

I think that after all the trailers, I assumed that they like, mooshed the prince and the huntsman into one character or something. /fails

You can see him very briefly in fight scenes. There's one bit with an archer in the forest (long hair, cleanshaven) and that's him, and I THINK that in one clip or trailer where the huntsman is fighting in the palace, it pans away and the prince is there and they're fighting together. I'm also assuming that the little boy with child!Snow White in trailers and stills is him.

The Snow White/Huntsman dynamic is clearly meant to be central, and the movie is supposed to be the start of a trilogy, so the prince options are probably:

1. They're in love. He dies. Huntsman is already in love with her and she falls for him in the other 2.
2. Huntsman--> Snow White is one sided, Prince is her officil OTP but the romance is secondary and everyone shipa Snow/Huntsman anyway.
3. Snow and Prince have puppy love but she's moved past it as an adult and he hasn't/takes longer to.
4. Snow/Prince are in love at first but grow apart.

Prince is probably toast, though.
