in another note, the whole "finish that goddamn sentence already" thing is kind of CLAMP canon, as in every single CLAMP story I have read save for "The One I Love" has that somewhere >.>

we talked about TRC and xxxHolic, but :brainsmash: Honestly I don't understand why CLAMP made Watanuki another 'Syaoran'. I mean if they just wished to tie the series together more tightly, I'd think exploring Yuuko-san's past and Fei Wong Reed's would have done enough. Once TRC ended, xxxHolic went its own direction anyhow (to say more is a spoiler).

Exploring Yuuko and Reed's pasts is something they should have done way more of. But really, if they wanted more duplicates, they should have made him a Sakura. Then Doumeki would be Syaoran and Himawari would be Tomoyo and it'd all make way more sense. Also I did read a bit of the new direction and the lack of certain characters decreased my interest quite a bit.

Word to your entry title. Since Fringe I've started seeing alternate universes and MORE THAN ONE OF EVERYTHING in every media I consume. TRC clones and TVD doppelgänger are not helping (although my lit teach really digged my paper on paralel connected universes in Maeterlincks works so I guess that's a thank you JJ)

I'm hoping for an epilogue of xxxHOlic in the tankoubon.

Apparently, a new duplicate (à la evil twin) appearing, is a season finale plot twist of some show, according to the spoilers. Not a very helpful spoiler, but yeah I'm looking forward to it.

I’m pondering Doumeki as a Sakura, and the result is absolutely hilarious. Though Tomoyo would probably love to get her hands on him.
