I really enjoyed both these books, but sadly have been unable to find a book about Angeline and Hayward so if you find one let me know.

No Man's Mistress started off well but like you said it kinda loses you towards the end. I've just finished re-reading a book that's the same, which if you haven't read it you must if only for regency romance set on a planet populated by feminist spacefearer descendants where men are the weaker/frailer sex and women rule.
