After the traumatizing montages in the second episode of Spartacus (what I watched of them, at least) I will no longer complain about wardrobe choices in Chuno. Though I am glad Dae Gil and Wang Son have proper shirts now. Though I’d rather Wang Son just went away. If I were charmed or amused by sexist sleezes, I’d watch more of the so-called-

Yes, it was because of Robbers (a drama I like very much and where their chemistry was insane. It takes guts to have your hero be a genuinely miserable, unlikeable *** and then slowly explain why he is the way he is and believably redeem him without sweeping under the rug all the damage he's caused). I know you are not into spoilers so all I am going to say about the way they develop TH/UN/DG triangle is - I think you are going to like the way they deal with all the issues about DG you bring up. They do not ignore them - let's just say the makers agree with you.
Re: UN. Actually I think UN came into her own and her true awesomeness in the second half of the drama. I liked her in the first half but adored her in the second half - she ends up in some extreme circumstances and rises to deal with them in an amazing fashion.
Ha seems to be careful not to kill any of his opponents (probably because they’re all just doing ( ... )

I noticed the knife thing at the time-you can't really tell exactly what's going on, but even though it LOOKS like a stabbing, it's like this...visual code for when someone has grabbed and twisted a blade to keep it from stabbing. But I noticed he hadn't killed or tried to kill anyone but Chul Woong when all the guards (who tried to shoot Un Nyun, even) started waking up.
Korea and China really like their one man armies, though.
I can tell the show agrees with me about Dae Gil (though I think the writers see it as more romantic than I do) which is a relief.
ETA: If it makes sense, I probably like (and admire) Un Nyun the most of the female characters, but find Sul Hwa, the slave girl, and the assassin to be more fun. (It's like how, in Legend, I liked Sujini more in the long run, but found Kiha more interesting, which pretty much evened ( ... )

punch to the gut can do a lot to a person, including make them writhe on the ground, puking until there’s nothing left, but it’s extremely unlikely to knock them out
This is also explained, although indirectly. They all into the acupuncture pressure points and apparently you can make someone pass out (or even kill them) by hitting one of those.
The rest - gosh, don't want to spoil you. I agree with you - I never thought DG/UN are compatible together AT ALL in the present moment. I liked UN/DG as "OH ,my impossible romance", but them together in reality? NO.
