There were a few made-for-TV adaptations of these in the early 1980s, which a little Googling says are conveniently available on DVD now. I remember finding them quite light and charming at the time, although the ensuing decades have wiped out any further details...

Those are the ones I was thinking of...if Google's to be believed it seems the only other English version was in one episode of Marple?

Yeah, that one I've seen. It's actually one of my favorite Marples, though I think the book is mostly focused on Tuppence, and the movie shifted a lot of the focus to Marple.

Tommy and Tuppence do not show up enough in Christie's works. They're my favorites.
