Hush is the most critically acclaimed episode of the series. I think it was nominated for an Emmy.
Funny story about two episodes during the "Glory Days" season. Prior to that season, Buffy and Joss had been praised by critics for its dialogue and the lack of teenage/young adult sexual situations. So, of course, Joss being the witty guy that he is, he made two distinct episodes that season. One being where no one talks for over half the show, and the other where all Buffy does in that episode is have sex. Joss, ever the wisecrack.
Odd. Because, except for season 1, sex has always been a fairly prominent theme in Buffy. Maybe it was because, in general, the characters don't just hop from one bed into another?
