It's like they wanted to create an ORIGINAL "Who's the daddy?" plot, without stopping to consider that it makes no sense at all.

Err...without making her a slut at all. No one calls John a slut for sleeping with the spy chick while married to the Sebacean princess, after all. Besides, the only time Aeryn and John were involved in anything resembling an exclusive relationship was on Talyn, so I don't see why they didn't just have her have angstsex after he died or something if they wanted a "Who's the daddy?" plot.
