I believe she was filming Queen of the Damned at some point during Season 4

Ah. Scheduling conflict is much better than "we thought the plot would be better for a while without her."

Actually, they did sort of want to leave her gone for a while. I seem to recall Skiffy objected and they brought her back much quicker.

Dude. The show did TOO consider it rape. John on the beach is a classic post-rape victim scene. D'Argo and Sikozu may not view it as such, but JOHN certainly didn't enjoy it.

I think I put it badly. I think the show considers Graza a rapist, but not Scorpius, and, of course, Graza's villainy, so far, is largely sexual, while Scorpius's was more intellectual.

I've always thought Scorpius treatment was much akin to rape and John viewed it as such. The Aurora-chair episodes were certainly no less painful to watch than Grayza's explicit sexual abuse. Geez, poor Crichton.

Oh, I forgot to say: there was definitely something going on between Jool and Chiana. Believe me, those hips don't lie.

D and John even commented that they thought they were at one point. Though it was the ep where Pilot was mad at John, so who knows if it was real. But Jool dummped D, and he was comforting Chi like she was they one who'd been dumped.
