Hope you find your cat soon. ♥ Also, I am a hair-toucher. I just love all the varying types.

Ahh the joys of kitties. I hope Squeaker shows up soon. I know how terrifying it is when they disappear like that :(

You have every right to have long hair without people touching it. How annoying.

I'm sorry to hear about your cat. I hope she comes back.

Although I don't have long hair at the moment (I cut it off in March to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths) I've often had it in the past. I've noticed there's this really weird thing that happens where people seem to think that your long hair has now become communal property. They gasp when you mention you might cut it, like you're growing it on behalf of everyone else who doesn't have the patience for it. It's a very weird thing.

Oh yeah. There have been times over the years when I had my hair tucked into my jacket, or how it was back + angle made it look like it was shorter, and had people react with shock/horror/taking offense because they thought I'd cut it off. I mean, I'd look different with short hair, and I've had long hair for so long that most of the people who know me would be surprised if I cut it, but really...

Not that I've been told. She's extremely good at catching mice, bugs and birds, so as long as she hasn't been hit by a car, attacked by a dog, or shut up somewhere concrete, she should be ok, it's just a question of if it is any of those.
