Bahahaha, THE MAYOR!!! Why do I love him so much in this?! He's hilarious and just blkadfahdjklta! XD When he tripped over himself humming his own theme music, I almost died. And the way the Warden 'briefly contemplated helping him up' and then thought otherwise, OMG I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I cannot get over this. I love Bernard's hidden amusement at the entire situation and the way he purposefully scares the mayor baahahaha! I'm so happy you gave him an actual PART in this, I could just plotz. XD

Excellent continuation! I loved Roxanne doing a little reconnaissance at the schoolhouse bunker and I particularly loved that she found the photo! (Metro Man dusts it! *squee*) I'm enjoying this so, so much and I can't wait to read more!

This was an amazing chapter! I loved the secretive, conspiratorial tone to the whole thing… starting with the ‘secret meeting’ taking place between the city’s officials to discuss the possible fate of the city, and the best course of action to take from here on in.

ROTFL! The characters represented were so fantastically fun. I loved how they’ve been fleshed out a little more to give them memorable personalities for this fic, rather than the cardboard cut-outs that they are in the film. I highly approved of the Warden’s no-nonsense, exasperated and ‘I am so embarrassed for you’ response to the Mayor. ROTFL! It was hilarious!

Even funnier was seeing Bernard looking in on the proceedings of this ‘meeting of chickens with their heads cut off’, with his usual dry, droll, emotionless approach. I loved that he was actually deriving entertainment and amusement from the meeting. Of course, considering that you’re watching the people who are in charge of the city making idiotic, clucking fools of themselves. Your only choice is to either
