Sweet, I haven't seen most of these. The brain helmet is a little scary. I wonder what exactly it was supposed to do...just monitor his brain, or try to incapacitate him somehow? I love the brain scan, though.

I encourage everyone to post comments to the artists' blogs or e-mail comments to the artists who worked on Megamind, and letting them know we love their work. Most of these artists deserve much more praise and attention than what they usually get, and if they think people love their work they might be willing to post more artwork.

What a great point! I don't think most of the "worker bees" involved in movies ever get much feedback.

In the Travis Lee Koller blog, I nearly went cross-eyed looking at the Megamind idea boards (what I wouldn't give for a larger version of those!), and I noticed the following:

Step 27: Eat More Veggies
Step 2: Evil Jammies
Step 33: Fresh Stars (this one intrigues me)
Step 44: Defeat Bush (this one made me laugh)
Step 12: Mutton Chops (BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THIS ONE

I also have a background in neuroscience, believe it or not, and when I was looking at the pictures of Megamind's brain, I noticed something interesting.
Megamind's cerebellum is much larger, proportionally, than that of an average human's. Since the cerebellum has to do mostly with motor control, maintaining balance, coordination, timing, motor learning, and stuff like that, this might indicate that Megamind is more coordinated, learns new actions more quickly, and has better reflexes than most humans.

TL;DR - Meg's brain says he's probably a good dancer.

YYEEEES THIS and well he IS. I was talking to Filthy and my girlfriend and we agreed he'd probably be very good at guitar too- and having such long fingers would help as well.

Damn why do all the awesome posts happen while I'm at work ;A;.
