Well guys, I was in the middle or writing my second multi-chapter story when this one-shot wouldn't leave me alone and insisted it be written.  So I wrote it.  It happens in the same universe as "The Rescue," and a few months after the ending.  Just a little something sweet.

I've toyed with the idea of a sequel, but I'm not sure yet. Right now, I think I'll stick with a series of one-shots as the mood strikes me.

Yeah, I know it started off weird for a MM fanfic, but I thought it was important to know where she was coming from. I admit it got away from me a bit, but I think it worked in the end.

Greeeat! I'm so glad you like it. I got a lot of comments from people who read the story and found it great, too, or other ones of people who want to read it soon. I still worry about Cynthia, though. Poor thing has to live as a cube now, you never told what happened to her.
Maybe she'll come back for the babies... she said they were a new species she created and I don't think she'd let her project go just like that ... tell me you're writing on a second part ö__ö
