I'll search you out in the lovely night I'll probably stumble But I'll never let go of your hand

Added bits. You all sadden me. Especially that second one. I'd have gotten that even two years ago. But I used to be pretty obsessed like with that song. It's just so pretty and great and neat and stupendous.

Wow, it was weird to scroll through the front page of your journal and random spot lyrics of songs I actually know.

7) "Shimmy Low" by The Clarks
13) "Better Off Without You" by The Clarks

It's not surprising nobody could identify these, as their fan base is pretty limited to the western Pennsylvania area. They extend a bit south into West Virginia and a bit west into Ohio, but otherwise they're pretty obscure. Kind of funny, because a lot of people around here don't realize that, as their music gets played on pretty much all of our local FM rock stations, and they sell out pretty big amphitheater venues.

That reminds me . . . I don't have any of their albums on my iPod. How lame. I'll have to take care of that tomorrow.

I know. It took me forever and a handbasket to actually get songs from them. I couldn't find them that summer so I'd mostly just given up. Super randomly, just a few months shy of a year ago, I was at my friend's house I recognized... maybe Shimmy Low. It was super amazing. I probably should've asked him how he stumbled upon them, but that didn't seem to be a priority at the time. He's from Maryland, though.

Why am I surprised you have an ipod? I really shouldn't be.

Yes, you should not be. I have a 4GB first generation white iPod nano. I got it earlier this year around Mother's Day, because I bought it at the same time as another 4GB black iPod nano, which was a gift for my mom.

If you knew I was typing this on a 24" Intel Core 2 Duo iMac it would be even less surprising that I have an iPod, really.

White, really? I'm disappointed.

Why, why?
