But these damn hallways keep changing, and he's having trouble getting back there -- not that he'd voice his troubles out loud and worry Rock at all with it. His

...! Rock! *he nearly slams into Dr. Light's side, eyes wide with panic as he looks at his beat-up friend* What the hell happened?! Rock!

*Dr. Light stops, and cradles the boy closer to his chest, looking down with worry.*

He was attacked. I didn't recognize the assailant -- he had a helmet that looked like an upside-down bucket, I think, but I was too focused on Rock to get a good look.

Well fix him you stupid Doctor! *he's glaring venom at Light now* The hells wrong with you? He's like your kid right?!

And here I was just going to prance around the hallways carrying him and see if that was going to do any good. *he glances around furiously* But the hallways in this damned place... it I didn't know better, I'd say they were rearranging themselves. Either way, I can't seem to get to my lab.

I'm not programmed to listen to you, Doc. If you're gonna show up looking like Goku with a smashed-up Mega in your arms, then there's no way I'm walking away from something this nuts.

[That, and he kind of wants to see how long Light's geriatric biceps can hold out with a heavy heap of metal in his arms.]
